Take your denim sewing skills to the next level in this hands-on, two-day workshop! Whether you choose to make a pair of jeans, a denim jacket, skirt, or another denim project, you’ll learn techniques for achieving professional-looking results.
We’ll cover denim construction, fitting, seam finishes, topstitching, working with heavy fabrics, and installing jeans hardware. Students should bring their own pattern, fabric and supplies, and sewing machine. Some patterns and jeans hardware will be available for purchase during class. Supply List will be emailed upon registration.
Students will receive helpful denim technique handouts, along with an inspirational PowerPoint presentation filled with ideas, examples, and tips for creating beautifully finished denim garments.
